Welcome to the website of the Whitstable 10K Road Race, a uniquely popular running race held on the north Kent coast each May.

The 2018 race will be held at 11am on the 7th May Bank Holiday Monday at The Waterfront Club.

The course starts from Tankerton Slopes and goes out to Hampton Pier at Herne Bay. The terrain is mainly flat, with the second half of the race being along the promenade by the beach huts, and the course should produce some fast running times.

Canterbury Harriers will be organising this race for the nineteenth year in 2018 and hope that it will be an enjoyable event for all.

The race this year has Shepherd Neame Whitstable Bay Pale Ale as the main sponsor. We would also like to thank The Waterfront Club for letting us use their facilities as the race headquarters.

Following a phenomenal take up of entries, the race limit of 750 for 2018 has already been reached on 5th January. We are sorry but we cannot accept any more entries.

There will NOT be any entries on the day but please indicate any transfers of numbers to us by 6pm on 30th April.

Numbers and timing chips will be given out on race day rather than sent through the post. We will email registered competitors with final instructions before race day.

Results for the 2017 race (and previous years) are available on this site.

A pound from each entry goes to the Demelza House Hospice Care for Children charity.

The race director for the Whitstable 10K can be emailed at [email protected]. Please only email with queries or comments about the race if your answer cannot be found on this website.
